US stocks concerned on Greece, Gold plunges to $1599

FITITOL--> FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - A stronger USD is being seen as risk-off sentiment is weighing in the market due to uncertainty regarding Greece, politically very vulnerable after the elections and opening doors to a euro exit. The stronger greenback is taking its toll on Gold, down by $40, since the European session. Gold has reached its current low at $1599, but downside pressure remains. For now, the precious metal is -2.16% lower on the day.

The German DAX 30 and the French CAC 40 are closing lower by -1.50% and -2.50%, while the Italian FTSE MIB and the British FTSE 100 drop by -2.30% and -1.20%. In the US, the SP 500 and Dow Jones 30 are down by -1.15%, while the Nasdaq 100 falls by -1.50%.

Crude oil is resuming its daily decline, now at $96.00 ground, down by -1.92%. The EUR/USD has breached below 1.3000 psychological level.
